Events at Special When Lit

Two Days in May

Sunday 4th & Monday 5th May 2025

TOURNAMENT #1
Date: Sunday 4th May
Time: 10:00 for a 10:30 start. Finals planned for just after the 17:00 finish. No rounds to start after 16:45.
Cost: £25 per person; £5 for under 16s.
Format: Depending on numbers, it will either be two-player head-to-head or four-player matchplay. All games will be set to three balls per game, with no extra balls. The aim will be to play as many rounds as possible during the allocated time. There will be a one game final, and medals for the top three.

TOURNAMENT #2
Date: Sunday 4th & Monday 5th May
Time: Qualifying 10:00-18:00 on Sunday. Qualifying 10:00-14:00 on Monday.
Cost: £10 for four cards (five games per card); £3 per card thereafter. No limits on number of cards purchased.
Format: Modern Sterns only. All games will be set to three balls per game, with no extra balls. Best card game qualifying over 12 hours (eight hours on Sunday, four hours on Monday, followed by finals. Trophies for the top four.

TOURNAMENT #3
Date: Monday 5th May
Time: 10:00 onwards. Last PinGolf start at 11:30.
Cost: £15 per person, £5 for under 16s.
Format: All games will be set to three balls per game, with no extra balls. The aim is to play two rounds of nine games between 10:30 and 14:00, followed by finals. There will be two groups, with the top two or four from each group qualifying, depending on final numbers participating. Trophies for the top four.

These are not for profit events for supporters of Special When Lit that help raise funds to keep Special When Lit open.

Covid precautions

• Please do not attend if you have experienced any of the following symptoms of illness (including but not limited to - dry cough, fever or breathing difficulties, loss of taste and/or smell) in the last 7 days, or if you have come in to contact with anyone with the symptoms or you or they have received a confirmed diagnosis in the last 10 days. Consideration should be given to vulnerable or shielded persons in your household before you decide to attend Special When Lit.

• Regular hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use of provided sanitiser is recommended. Paper towels are provided.
